IT'S A WRAP: Saturday, May 29th, I filmed my last two scenes for Tyler Tharpe's new feature film; indeed, that was the night that principle shooting wrapped. I had a blast! My first scene of the night was a solo shot--just me putting a piece of equipment into place and then trying the garage door. It wouldn't open. So I walked away. My second scene required me to be good 'n' bloody. Hell yeah. The blood smelled like mint. Tyler also applied some scab blood to make it look like I had a gash on the side of my head. For this scene, I was crawling on my hands and knees, disoriented, when a car came racing up to me. (This car had the camera in it, by the way.) When the director yelled, "Action!" I crawled. When he yelled, "Fall!" I fell. And then I slowly got up and held a hand up to the headlights. They said it looked great with those lights right on me. My eyes looked freaked and the blood was good and yucky-lookin'.

Then I stayed after for a while and helped create an effect. Amy, Tyler's wife and star of the movie, was in her car. And I was behind the car and waved a piece of cardboard in front of a light -- to create the appearance of motion, passing trees, etc. It was such a blast. In fact, I've been feeling the old after-play let down since the film shoot wrapped. All told, I believe I was in over a dozen shots. So I oughta make it into the movie.
