Memorial Day: I'm having a relaxing weekend--for once. Last weekend was hectic; lots of social obligations. Yesterday, I finished proofreading/editing a collection of short stories by David G. Barnett. I need to e-mail the correx. to him sometime today. I'm reading a killer novella, "Confessions of the Archivist" by Patrick Lestewka. Kid's only 26 years-old and can write like Edward Lee. I'm also going to read The Haunting of Hill House by S. Jackson in the next day or so, too. Then, I'm going to read Asylum vol.'s 1 & 2 since I'm planning on submitting a story to the upcoming Asylum vol. 3.

LATEST NEWS: I returned from the World Horror Convention, held recently in Kansas City, MO (April 17-20). Met some amazing people and hung out with others I've known previously. Had a blast. Among the highlights: Meeting Gary A. Braunbeck! Hanging out with my very favorite author, Edward Lee! And being around other cool people, a virtual who's who of horror, including (but not limited to): Matt Schwartz, David Barnett, Minh Nguyen, Chad Savage, Mike Oliveri, Brian Keene, Mikey Huyck, Feo Amante, Victor Heck, Keith Minion, Deena Holland, Matthew Warner, Trey Barker, Caniglia, Sam Smith, Ann & Kelly Laymon, John & Geri Everson, Jim & Charlee Jacob.
